Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Amboseli is known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania.                                                                                                                          On a clear day the Peak of Mt. Kenya is clearly visible. Animals mostly seen at Amboseli includes giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, and hundreds of bird species.

Lake Nakuru is referred to as the pink lake because of its thousands of pink flamingos and other bird-life-it’s a Bird watchers paradise. It has a surprisingly number of animals, all the “big five” except the elephant can be seen here. Originally established as a bird sanctuary Nakuru is a Ramsar Wetland Area, known for its spectacular birdlife. When water levels are high enough massive flocks of flamingoes have been known to gather at Lake Nakuru. Highlights on the game drive may include sightings of tree-climbing lions and both black and white rhinos, for which the reserve is better known today. Commonly sighted animals include giraffes, baboons, zebras, buffalos, antelopes and hippos, with rare finds including leopards.

Depart after your early morning breakfast for Serengeti drop off at Isebania border; this will include normal border crossing formalities.  Serengeti National Park is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometers of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve. Its far-reaching plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted shadows of acacia trees, have made it the quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. Its large stone kopjes are home to rich ecosystems, and the sheer magnitude and scale of life that the plains support is staggering. Dinner and overnight at the Tented Camp.
Optional –transfer to Airstrip and catch flight to Serengeti. You fly to Migori Airstrip and transfer by road to the border of Isebania for formality, then road transfer to Tarime airstrip whereby you catch another flight to Serengeti.

CULTURAL TOUR
Wake up early for a pre-sunrise breakfast. Drive from the camp for approx. 20 minutes to locate the nomadic Bushmen (Hadzabe). In the company of the bushmen, you will hunt on foot using traditional weapons i.e. bows and arrows.

The Bushmen are related to the Kalahari Bushmen of South Africa. They speak the same click language but do not understand each other, as they have been apart for very long. The Bushmen live a medieval kind of life style. They do not build permanent homes but follow the animals in the area as they trap and kill them for food. They are hunters and gatherers. After a brief hunting stint with the Bushmen, we go back to our vehicles and drive to the camp for lunch.

 You will also get a chance to visit maasai boma. Later after lunch, you will drive to Arusha
